I'm not here to argue with you, as I have no idea who you are nor do I care. You want to sit here and argue with staff, keep your name and continue to enjoy your presence here. I really don't care, I didn't know you before you popped up here, and I won't pay attention to you after.

I hope others are reading this thread. The tone of your comments is quite astounding.

Why do people who want to leave make such big announcements about it. Just log out and if you don't want notifications send them to junk mail.
Because it's fun to cry and scream about how unfair the world is.

Especially when it's on some obscure internet chat forum.

Where is that bye Felicia emoji...

Also, censorship. Lmfao - go hang out on parlor or whatever that cease pool is.

The OP has his reasons, just like you have yours.
Ahahahaha. I read your report. Your mistake is thinking I am a moderator. Staff ≠ moderator. Some staff are here for other reasons. I'd bet I haven't moderated 5 posts in 10 years.

But I've been moderated a lot more than that. I just don't complain about it, I move on, enjoying the interactions on the board.

Maybe they could delete all your posts
They technically could, but due to the reasons laid out by @Wookie in post #5, that's never gonna happen. No matter the fact that it'd be a major PITA to hunt down every post made by a prolific poster to delete them. Not gonna happen unless the mods get a major pay raise. Hardly even then.

I'm not here to argue with you, as I have no idea who you are nor do I care. Posts may be deleted. If an account is deleted, it screws up the way entire threads (and the board) are indexed. Now, I know as much about running a bulletin board as I do trading commodities in Chicago, which is nothing, but Pete tells us that accounts are not to be deleted because all of the threads that that account has posted in will cause the board to reindex them. I have no idea what reindex involves, nor do I care. I have seen the results of a single account deletion in the 20 years I've been here, and it took a month for the board to stop throwing us error messages.

So my advice is, change your name, and walk away. You want to sit here and argue with staff, keep your name and continue to enjoy your presence here. I really don't care, I didn't know you before you popped up here, and I won't pay attention to you after.

I disagree with you sometimes and most of the time I still believe that you are wrong and I am right but I have a lot of respect for you and I think that you are genuine person and I am glad to have you as a friend and as somebody I know.

For some reason, I disagree with you here on SB a lot more than on FB. I never disagreed with your posts on FB, scary.

Cheers!!!

So, you can read reports even if you are not a moderator. But a moderator should really be addressing the report, not you. That would be a conflict of interest would it not?
