When a dive team is done with their cave dive and exits the cave, do they lock the gate behind them?

If so, how do they know they're NOT locking in other divers who are still in the cave system?
Yes. There is only one key issued at a time and you could not pass another team in there without knowing it.

Yet another excellent blog by Steve.
Yeah, Steve is an amazingly resourceful and versatile guy. I even own some of his original artwork.

Yes he is. When he talks I listen. I look forward to his next trip down here, great guy to hang out with.

I hope you got that framed, mate... must be worth... well, must be worthless but we'll keep that to ourselves!

picture of the gate I found. It appears he's unlocking the lock on the chain.

(for reference, I think this is Bugman and photo taken by SPD_135. Maybe one of them can give some details about it. )
