Yes I can imagine. Just like what you do with the line/boltsnap and cam bands for the tank. I would like to retain the ability to unclip the bungee. I now added a low-profile D-ring under the right chest D-ring. I'll dive it and see how it feels like. But I think I'm going for the butt mounted pocket.

That works.

Oh and a bump cap is a helmet.

I am confuseded.

There's a school of thought that says to migrate back-up lights from the (usual) chest d-ring onto a mount on a caving helmet.

Never heard it called a 'bumpcap' though.

I just made a bunch (have to provide helmets for some technical wreck course standards I teach)... but not had the opportunity to trial them yet.

Bumpcap is a term used a lot in the construction industry to describe a hard hat.

Hi Pao,

I also wear the inflator across my chest but mount it onto a bungee tied around the D-ring's triglide. I prefer this to using a boltsnap as it makes the right D-ring a bit less cluttered. I'm also playing around with the idea of putting a mini-D-ring beneath so I can clip my backup lights and retain the tank bungees.

Cheers!

BTW, I'm making some butt pouches. You may want to see them.
