My wife and I are heading to Cozumel I'm a couple months and I will do some diving. I'd really like a very basic, and cheap, computer for the trip. I found an old Tusa for 50 bucks. Having never used a computer would this model work for simply keeping track of my N levels? Decent purchase...
I know this is an old thread but wanted to run my idea past you guys before I do it.
I was thinking about using a (new) toilet ring! Pure wax. Designed to seal out water. Less then a buck. Should work well right??
I built a locking box for the bed of the truck for this purpose.
I will try to explain here and can post photos tomorrow.
I placed a very large eye-bolt through the bed of the truck about 9 inches from the front and dead center. The bolt was originally used to tie down two motorcycles...
Let me start off by saying that I am on very tight budget for diving equipment.
I needed to get a warmer wetsuit, a 3mm just doesnt cut it diving in MN and WI! I had about 250 and figured on a 7mm or a closeout semi dry.
Instead I rolled the dice and bought a used dry suit on Ebay...

The suit also has dry gloves. Looks like...
Ok here is my situation. I need to get some exposure protection and a dive computer. I have about 300 to spend. As of now I have a 3mm wetsuit and a watch.
I was thinking since I live in MN my money would be best spent getting some exposure protection first and a computer later. I am a bit...
I am not a pro but I have started shopping around for a dry suit. No experience with that brand BUT the price seems good from what I have seen. If you pass on it can you send me the number for the shop? I may be interested.
I ususlly am not a huge fan of the bright colored stuff. I figure black will always be chic! HOWEVER I think the yellow handle would be the way to go. My thinking is if a buddy has to grab hold of my gear (share air, swimmer tow, etc) I would like the knife to stand out a bit. Just so he doesnt...
