Thanks for the feedback and this is what I was feeling was going to be the case. There are some Isotherm Semi-Dry's at a VERY reasonable price as are Tilo's Semi-Dry. Likewise, there are a few respectable 3mm that are well under $100.

I was following this thread contently and thought the Dive Assure top program sounded good on an annual subscription... until I called. Canadians aren't covered and have to deal with a different office that only deals via email. The plan for Canadians is dive accident only and no other benefits...

I just went back and read the info that came with my 212 and YES, if the regulator is purchased from an Authorized dealer, you are the original owner, and is serviced annually by an Authorized dealer... LIFETIME parts are covered.
