    June Orcabait dive?

These will be my first dives in a BP/W. Put it all together this afternoon. My vote, as an Oregonian, is as far South as a decent dive can be had. Chris

Well, May has nearly gone with no Orcabait dive. Any chance for something in June for the new divers? Chris

    Orca Bait April dive?

I'm looking for a couple of easy dives to get used to my drysuit (had isntruction in the pool). I've been looking for a Hood Canal buddy for this weekend, but if there's an easy dive scheduled for the Sound I could probably make it. Chris

    Basic Drysuit Question

Its all of the weight I had. I'll hit the pool again this week and work on getting an idea of how much less weight I actually need. Chris

    Basic Drysuit Question

I think I figured it out. No undergarments. Because I was in the pool, I just hopped into the suit with a swimsuit. I think that the belt combined with my sweat managed to make a decent seal like I'd never have while diving. Chris

    Basic Drysuit Question

I just picked up a used drysuit, an Oneill neoprene model. I wear a weight belt because my BC is non-weight integrated. I took a drysuit orientation to pick up some instruction in the pool, one of the exercises was overfilling the suit so I could ascend feet first and practice rolling and...

    Untasty mouthpiece

I just purchased my first reg yesterday. My shop had managed to find a couple of old Mares things from the previous shop and they had a new in box Mares MR12 Akros at a great price. So I had the regset put together with a new mouthpiece that fits better than the Mares without being as spendy...

    Thank heavens for PADI

In the open water class you can miss every question about dive planning on the final exam and pass. The third unit is very dense with a only single page of first aid and rescue info, while the fifth unit is very sparse with lots of marketing info, and even four marketing questions on the...

looking for an open heel fin under $50 any suggestions?

I got some Cressi-sub pro lights (55 from lp) and I like them fine. The frogs are under 50, or were the last I checked. Remember that there's some hefty shipping on top of a pair of fins. Chris

    Scubapro Pilot

Internet rumor has it that Austin Aqua Sports managed to come up with a small supply of spare parts for pilots. I sent them an email about it(my Dad still has his pilot) and I got this reply: "There are so few pilots out there that are still working, that parts are hard to come by. We do...
