Thanks everyone for all the help.
We managed to get a seasickness tablet called melamine which seems to have done the trick. Yesterday was rougher than the problem day and he was fine.
Thanks again, Much appreciated.

Hi
I'm diving with my dad in Colombia at the moment. He went out on a dive on his own yesterday and had a few problems. First dive went fine but he began vomiting pretty much as soon as he hit the surface. They went and had an hour or so on the shore between dives and he began to feel...
thanks for all the replies everyone, feeling much clearer on the idea.
if real lift is not necessarily the same as advertised lift how large a safety margin would you suggest?
Hi
Both my girlfriend and I are looking at buying our first BCD's, we dive in cold water in a 7mm farmer john with a 7mm shorty over the top. Aside from that, standard equipment. I checked the BCD lift calculator at the top of this page but I'd like some confirmation just in case I messed up...
I only check them if I'm planning more than one dive so that I don't end up with either a long surface interval or very limited bottom time on a second dive.
I'll Just throw my 2 cents in.
I did AOW directly after OW whilst I was on holiday in Thailand. At the time, I didn't even think about it, it was offered to me, I was 18 and had a shiny new credit card, a dangerous combination.
I do have some regrets over taking the AOW straight away...
Hi all,
I'm sure there is a really simple answer to this just staring me in the face but I can't find it in the manual for the life of me. How do I change my geo 2.0 from imperial to metric measurements?
Thanks in advance
Alfie

I'm fairly new to these forums but in the short time I've been here I've stumbled across a lot of people making comparisons between diving in poor conditions, UK for example, and warm clear blue holiday diving. This gave me a few questions,
1. What specific skills are developed diving in...
Hey guys
I'm returning to diving after a break of a few years. Before taking a break I had completed a Nitrox spec course but from reading a few things on here I dont know if it has changed or if I need to retake it.
I've read a few descriptions of Nitrox courses and they mention that...
Thanks again for your help, I'm going to be diving and travelling around central America between the start of January and the end of december.
When i get back I'll be sure to contact you about heading up to pichidangui and some drysuit experience. Do you know a good dive shop here in Chile...
Hey Paula,
Thanks for the info. I'm only planning on staying here in Chile for another year so I'm slightly hesitant to invest in a drysuit. This might be an odd question but does anywhere rent drysuits? I don't think I've ever seen them for rent.
I imagine there is very little chance of...
Hey guys
I'm living in Santiago and I'm keen to do some diving here, I done about 25 dives so I'm fairly new to the sport. I was hoping someone could give me some advice regarding water temp in quintay?
Do you think it would be worth starting to look into dry suit diving or stick to...
