My comments may be a little late as this thread is a little old, BUT I would echo shawnstam's comments regarding B&B EXCEPT that I found that B&B made my wife and I feel like family on our first trip out with them. I have dived with several of the often recommended (on this board) dive boat...

I am glad you enjoyed the dive. I know I certainly enjoyed the it and the aquarium staff were great (friendly and knowledgeable).

Absolutely great photos. Thanks. I don't mean to highjack the thread (my apologies) but I had a (hopefully) quick question regarding the guitarfish. I too would have thought it to be an Angel Shark. Is there any easy way to differentiate between a guitarfish and an angel shark? TIA

That would have been good to know! I used alcohol (but without the vinegar) to try to dry the ear out and hoped it would improve. No Luck! By the next day the fever had set in, so I eventually headed to the doc who prescribed (SURPRISE!) antibiotics. I will try the alcohol and vinegar mixture...

Sean, Sorry we weren't able to meet up while I was on Maui (I carted my UK Light Cannon to Maui for nothing). I unfortunately developed an ear infection during the second half of my stay, which definitely kept me from diving (or doing anything, really). Thanks again for the dive buddy...

Hi Sean, Thanks for the offer. I do enjoy night dives (though I have only done 5-6 of them). I just need to figure out how well that will fit in with my planned vacation evening activities (dinner reservations, family time, etc). I'll try to PM you once I figure things out. Thanks again.

My experience with Jack's has also been very positive. An absolutely professional (and entertaining) operation. I would highly recommend them. My avatar pic (if you can make out what it is) is from manta dive with Jacks.
