I am currently using a Canon G 12 in an Ikelite housing with a DS-51. I was recently able to pick up a DS-160 at a really good price. Can I use both strobes as a dual set up? Or should I just use the 160 as a solo set up?

I currently am using a Zeagle express tech soft plate BPW. I normally use 6-8 pounds of weight depending on how much neoprene I wear. So, like the title says: can I count on dropping most of that weight with a normal 5 pound steel plate?

Sorry if it's been asked.... I got a Silver 3+ for Christmas and the manual says it's good for 3 ata, so I assumed I was good to go. I was helping a coworker research GoPros and came across the 'dive' housing. Does it matter? Is the dive housing a necessity? Is there a real benefit?
