    Gday Eric, I lived there for a number of years. some stunning diving and not many operators nor tourist so you don't see many other divers. if you are in noumea try kuendu dive safari - they are on facebook - or in the north babou plongee - lifou island is also very good at lagoon safari...

    Hey Dive girl, lived in noumea for a number of years and my choice would be lagoon safaris in nouville Lagoon Safaris, and babou plongee in the north in hienghene which is a beautiful spot out of the water too Babou Ct Ocan Hienghne - Plonge en Nouvelle Caldonie. both have accomodation options...

    Thanks Andy, in which case would probably meander up on the Sunday 6th and dive on the Monday 7th. Im a padi advanced with around 30 dives and my partner open water with 20 or so, whilst im sure choice will be limited to what is on offer that day what site would you suggest ?

    Bonjour Mike For New Cal there are many dive sites within a short boat ride, in 30/40 minutes you can be out on the reef and see all youre after then do a second dive at a wreck and be back by around lunchtime. Many sites are also reserves as are some of the small atolls set up for snorkelling...
