If you are just going to be snorkeling, why not take video @ 1080P and 8 mp stills instead with the this! Just another idea, you have a lot of great options!

If you will just be snorkeling during daylight, the Canon D10 is all that you will need.

I would consider the RDX-500d housing for the T1i. I also think that this would be great underwater setup. The wallet will considerably lighter when finished!

My wife and I stayed on beach house #4 last month. It is the closest beach house to the resort. It was great! No issues at all with not being directly at the resort. We would not hesitate to stay there again. CoCo View is an amazing place to dive, go have fun!

I would go with the Ikelite. Much more durable.

On my A570, I will often set the white balance to cloudy. Seems to work well for me.

The A570 is a terrific camera both above and below the water. This is the camera that I have used, with the Canon housing, and have taken some great shots with just the on board flash. Full manual controls with AA batteries. Check Craigslist and ebay, you should be able to find on for under $100.
