I just took my regulator in for it's yearly service. I went to pick it up and the bill was over $100. I was charged $70 labor plus parts. I know, I should have kept up with the warranty paperwork for the reg but I didn't. The parts didn't bother me, it was the labor. Now I have seen posts...
I have already built a canister light with the 12v 7 amp SLA battery. I works great but it's a little bulky for my taste. I was wanting to make a smaller canister light out of 2" or 3" PVC but I don't know what kind of batteries to use and how many. Any help would be appreciated.
I have seen mention of the Timex Helix DM on this board. It looks like it is pretty nice. I wanted something to back up my computer and that looks like it would work pretty well. I was just wandering if anyone else had used one and if so, what did you think?
I just completed some spring straps for my Jets and they worked great. Does anyone know of an easy way to attach DIY springs to SP Twin Jets?
I was thinking of trying to build a stainless or aluminum backplate. I don't know where to begin . Does anyone have any tips or advice on where to get drawings etc?
I was just wandering if anyone had done a backup light. Made out of delrin or something like that. I have access to a machine shop but I didn't know if someone had already done one and if they had any pointers
I've finally finished my diy canister light and it works great. The only thing I don't like about it is the soldered connections on the back of the bulb. I'm terrible at soldering. It works for now but who knows for how long. I've got airspeed press divelight companion and it shows a MR16...
I have a powersonic 12volt 7 amp battery in my canister light. Can these batteries be charged by a standard battery charger or do you need a special charger?
I'm almost done building my light. I've gotten down to the wiring and I was wandering what everyone was using. I could use a circuit breaker but it is difficult to find one that I can bolt down. Then again I could use a fuse. (Same problem) What do you guys think?
I have a pair of SP twin jets which I love. The only problem I seem to have is that my thin 3mm boots want to go through the open toe on these fins. Does anyone know of a boot that fits the twin jets pocket a little better?
I have recently been looking for a new octo. I found the SP Air2 at an LDS. I really like the idea of one less hose. I've heard conflicting opinions on this ranging from loving it to not giving it to your worst enemy. I just wanted to know what the board thinks about it.
I have a friend who has run into some financial woes. He has a 2001 model Sherwood Outback for sale. He will sell it to me for $100. This sounds like a great deal to me, I've seen them go for as much as $600. I just want to know what everybody this of this BCD. If it's a good price on a crappy...
