David and I are diving Windy Point this morning, we are hoping to follow the line out a little. Will keep you posted on the vis.

Trey, the vis sucks bad, really bad. We made it to 133'; I was leading and could not see the line from arm's length away, had to follow it by feel. Vis was fairly good above 110'. The plan was to hit 145' to 150' if we were lucky.

Tomorrow is another day if diving.

Yeah, it was pretty bad last month @ 125' too. Sometimes the river bed clears up better than the crud in the trees, but I don't wanna try to swim a scoot that far through zero vis to find out. We're planning to be out there around 1PM on NYD in sidemount kit. Prolly just scoot around below the ledge and have some fun. Maybe we'll run into some folks - hopefully not literally.

My dry suit won't be in till (hopefully) sometime next week so I will be in my 7mm. I do look forward to meeting you guys at the DAM for some fun diving.

Looks like we're not gonna make it out until tomorrow. The evening proved to be too strong for my dive buddy.

What a great Dam dive! @Shaggy thanks for diving with me. @Shawn thanks for organizing.

We had great weather, much better than expected vis ~10@80', saw some new stuff and met a great bunch of new folks. I can't think of a better way to start the new year. Just wish I could have hung out longer.

Made for some good zero viz line drills.. After I found it again..
Having OLED screens is a big plus in 1" to none viz..

Still had a great time and thanks a bunch for all your patience Clay! Going from Cozumel / Bonaire warm blue water diving back to the swamp with a new drysuit, regs, etc, was an all day affair...

Hopefully viz will improve (couldn't get much worse) and more line can be added in the near future..
