Great to hear a happy ending to what must have been a horrible night at sea. Can you share the story...?

Like to hear more, don't think of PG as one of those places where divers get misplaced at sea.

Similar incident reported several weeks ago also involving Korean.
They were doing Kelimar Drift then.
One was picked up quite early but the other two....many hrs later and alive.
Are we talking the same incident?

Don't know if this is what happened but Canyons or Kilima Drift + full moon ebb tide = you're on your way to the middle of nowhere if you miss Verde Island

LOOK IN FACEBOOK UNDER Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary 505th Squadron. THERES EVEN A MAP SHOWING WHERE THEY DRIFTED

Gee, it would have been easier to post a link than type, but - Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary 505th Squadron has two pages on FB. The map seems to be on this one: https://www.facebook.com/groups/140613459624/ Pic posted 21 hours ago.

Looks like the DM separated and like the other one recently, would have been picked up sooner if he'd stuck with the others. Interesting comments at the pic.

Does not sound like it was weeks ago, kwhkg and the discussion does not match.

A couple of posts down on that link on August 28th, there is this reference to the missing divers from "last month", so apparently July?

Rick Kirkham:
Congratulations to all the Puerto Galera dive centers that received certificates from the PCSSD and Department of Tourism for helping to find the missing divers last month. Each certificate was personally signed by the Commissioner of the PCSSD and also the Secretary of Tourism.

Many individuals helped in the rescue, so certs given to each dive center were as a thnk you to the staff from those centers that helped.
bold added

There isn't a date on the current incident, so it may well be one and the same...
