You certainly can use the phrase ...
I do not claim ownership - It has been in common usage in the vintage instruction world for many years
It is a good description of those "who have drank the cool aid"
I am always reminded of the conversation I had with a super pooper instructor at he NM Blue Hole when Mrs. Miller and I wandered around the divers as wide eyed tourist. He informed me there was no magazines, no books, no manuals, no recreational diving and no instruction prior to the establishment of his Corporate dive organization ….and he and others dive and instruct diving perpetuating this charade of dive knowledge,
We are so fortunate to live in California - where it all began ..
