A Class of its Own

The SD1 Military Force Fin Force Fin SD1 - Military: Force Fin
is one fin that stands in a class of its own. This fin has been tested in various
diving environments by a variety of diving groups for
the last 7 years and is still a current top seller
with certain elite military groups.

The fin was designed for the U. S. Military Special
Forces and not only its construction, but also its
design scream ballistic. It was the first Force Fin to
have the new adjustable foot pocket using ethafoam
that adjusts to about any large size diving boot. It
is perfect if you are a diver who dives using a thick
neoprene bootie sometimes and then switches to
drysuits boots on other dives. The foot pocket has two
stiff ethafoam sides that secure themselves to each
other by industrial grade Velcro along with two nylon
straps that are sewn to the ethafoam and connected on
the top of the foot pocket by quick release buckles.
This design makes adjustments and doffing and donning
your fins extremely easy and comfortable. They really
are a nice fit with drysuit boots, but with the Velcro
and ethafoam foot pocket it will conform to any size
foot of 9.5 and larger. This entire foot pocket is
hand woven to the blade with 550 parachute cord and
features a replaceable non skid bottom.

It is a powerful fin and you need powerful leg muscles
to push the fin. If you are a Force Fin user you will
notice the difference right off the bat. If you are a
die hard paddle fin user and love your big black bulky
fins and have always wanted to try Force Fins these
are the fins for you. I have a diving associate who
uses them only when he dives with doubles on his back
because he loves the power and has told me, “I have
never used a more powerful fin”

Below is deep CCR explorer Aaron Brown diving in the Red Sea with his SD1 Military Force Fin.

The fin design features rigid channels and bent tip on
the end of the blade to help with tracking and
sculling in the water. This unique Force Fin prevails
with efficiency , rugged materials and construction
and the fact that like all Force Fin products is
100%American made. The SD1 model was sold exclusively
through Force Fin Headquarters and only if you
discussed your diving intentions directly with Bob
Evans the designer and President of Force Fin. He even
has a file of photo copies of every SD1 Foot pocket
and who it went to. This has been a hard to get fin, but now is open to orders directly through the Force Fin website and certain select dealers.

If you are looking for a stiff fin with power and the
versatility of a true adjustable foot pocket take the
challenge and dive the SD1 Force Fins.
Force Fin SD1 - Military: Force Fin

Just got confirmation that I will be getting wet today! I will be gearing up my Inspiration CCR and taking a pair of the SD1 Military Force Fins out for a shallow dive of 100 feet in the great green almost zero vis waters outside the Santa Barbara Habor for a training dive. joy joy - any dive of diving is a good day!

700 bucks for a pair of fins??!!

You are absolutely right. I really should have used the words high end and special more in my post. As I am currently heading down to the Marine Tech Building in Santa Barbara hooking up the boat and heading out to a dive in green temperate water I will looking forward to returning to posts by more members and guests! It is a great topic. Thank you for the feedback! As the wind is picking up on this post so it is here at 34 degrees N. I might be back sooner than I think! - So goes the crackle of my weather radio-

I like mine.
They are worth what I paid for them.
I have dived in the Bahamas, Key Largo, Lake Michigan and Alaska with them.
