Seldom is the scuba diver the primary subject in dive videos. Both the viewer and diver share the same wonderment and awe of the spectacular cenotes found in the Yucatan of Mexico.

Cenotes featured include the poison cloud at Angelita, the laser light show at The Pit, and the appropriately named El Eden Cenote.

Footage was taken during September 5th and 6th, 2011.

Enjoy!

I like the footage. Good video overall. A little too much use of slow motion for my tastes, but that's just my opinion and editing style speaking.

Oh, I disagree! I love the slow motion. This is one of the most creative and visually delightful cavern dive videos I've seen (and I've watched a lot of them). I love the footage of the bubbles, and the light rays coming down through the water. And the ending, with the bright light on the divers' faces, is just beautiful. It conveys the wonder I felt as I surfaced from my first cavern dives. Even the music isn't as annoying as that type of soundtrack often is.

Very well done. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it.

Thanks Ron, your comments are well taken. My next video will be fast paced with lots of cuts, just for you. :D
