He had dodged a couple skills so we had to work him a bit more - - but we went out last night and "just did it"
SO - - Now Mack is now also officially a NAUI Instructor! Yeah Mack :D

Do give him your congraduations though.....He was a pretty dragging puppy after all that swimming/snorkeling....

Congrats to both of you... I know what a b***** DiveMaster was so I am pretty sure Instructor is out...a t least for this summer...

Bask in the sunlight for a bit and them tell us what you are going to do with all the millions you will make teaching scuba...

:rofl3:
and he can add that to the millions he's making as a dive shop owner :D

Congratulations Mack! Knowing which swims you were having to do I'll bet you got a good night's sleep last night. :)

CONGRATS on your completion of the program.

Yay! Congrats Mack!

Thanks guys. I can certainly say that being a friend, shop owner, etc, bought me no special treatment. I had done a refresher earlier in the day, so my strength was definitely not at 100%. A word of advice to anyone seeking this certification: Do the snorkel and rescue stuff in the open water. Making turns every 25 meters in a pain in the A** and certainly slowed me down.

I owe a huge thanks to Mrs. Diver, Nik, Kenny and Stephen, for keeping the shop running smooth while I was trying to focus on the training. Also, thanks to Greg and Larry. Even though I was already an instructor for another agency, I learned a ton, thanks to Greg and Larry.
