where did you find this one Jon? depth?
 
Anyone know the i.d. of the fish in the first photo? They look kinda like cardinalfish, but since I'm mostly an Atlantic guy, I'm not even sure what family they are in.
yup. it's a cardinalfish, Apogon hoevenii the white mark on its dorsal fin gives it away.

I've been putting off viewing this thread since my dial-up is sooo slooww to view pix. Now that I've had a look, gotta say, excellent shots. Both the nudibranch shots are incredible, and I really like the octopus too. Thanks...
