Baby shampoo, Johnson and Johnson works fine, generic works just as well for me.

reminds me of a discussion heard at a dive shop

owner: and if you sell them a mask recommend mask scrub to prevent fogging and anti-fog to do the same.

newbie employee: won't toothpaste and shampoo work just as well?

owner: we are a dive shop, not a drug store! We don't sell toothpaste and shampoo.

Hi all, does any one know the formulae of the anti-fog used for masks ?
I usually buy the little antifog spray in my LDS. Last time I dived in the dive boat there was a 1 litre bottle with antifog. Surelly the dive boat crew does it.

I don't pay for Chinese spit I make my own domestic spit on site

Spit worked pretty good for me.. Once in a while fog. Then my bro in law had some fancy pants no fog solution so we used it.. Fogged up like crazy. In my AOW my instructor had J&J baby shampoo and it worked LIKE A BOSS.. No looking back.

According to him they can't spit in to masks in UK anymore cause of health concerns, hence the baby shampoo

You can't spit in your own mask in the UK?? Or are we talking rentals? How do you police that?? About as well enforceable as the no peeing in a wetsuit rule...
