I'm considering Grenada for a February, 2008 dive trip with a group of friends. From what I've been reading, the island has recovered from its hurricane damage and is pretty much back to normal. I've also read some good things about the diving and the dive ops there. I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone who's stayed there or been diving there recently. Thanks.

I was there in September of '05. The diving is excellent, saw lots of sharks, mostly Nurses, but we also saw Caribbean Reefs every time we dived the Bianca C. I had no issues as a result of hurricane damage. I imagine things are in even better shape now.

Find a dive op that has the gear to take you to the barrier islands on the far NE end.

That is the shiznits.
