Jess is not aware of the system for the HVX-200 that bypasses the internal camera by sending the signal to an external unit. Wish I could remember the site, and if I find it I'll post it here. As for the camera in low light - takes some tweeking, not going to get quality in the full auto mode. No camera can do it all in auto. Planet Earth series uses Panasonic.
