If you can get access to an accurate pressure gauge (as a shop might have in their repair department, one that has a big enough dial to resolve 15-20 psi at least) then I would check against a variety of pressures- full tanks, and nearly empty. If the Cobalt is off at any point it can be calibrated against the gauge. Atomic may prefer to do this if there isn't a dealer who can, for liability reasons- I will have to check with them. It would not take much variation on temperature to change a full tank reading by 200 psi.

I got access to what I thought was an accurate pressure gauge and checked the pressure of 5 tanks vs the Cobalt and my SPG. What I have discovered is an accurate gauge is a hard thing to come by. When comparing the Cobalt to a few other SPGs on other regs I have determined that the Cobalt is probably correct and my SPG is way off. Thanks for the replies.
