Well, after a long delay I am heading back to the pool to get certified and not hypo-therm-ified

Greetings TwistedGray, I love to go to the pool! The funny thing as a OW student I hated it. Now I have a blast trying new gear or different techniques and always practicing skills. Practice makes perfect my teachers used to say. I wish you all kinds of fun, take your time and master your skills. It will make the OW dives easy and very enjoyable. I dont think the conditions will be good this weekend for an ocean dive so I plan to spend some time in the pool practicing. I like the practice.
