thanks for the link to the pics. you're right - the 18lb wing looks pretty small. Have you personally used it while diving in the South China Sea? How does it perform in choppy waters?

Another dumb question - has anyone tried diving doubles with a 30lb wing? Tropics of course.

I tried out the 18# on a recent trip to Cozumel it was almost like not wearing anything, you have to pay attention to your weighting naturally but by the same token you don't need to wear so much lead in warm water anyway, I used an aluminum BP and wouldn't dive OC any other way for warm water diving, for me there was plenty of lift at the surface though we are talking Cozumel and it doesn't get too choppy. If you're talking about using the 30# single for doubles that's a bad idea because the cylinders won't allow the wings to expand properly and you'll lose a lot of lift.
