Got there plenty early and was able to snag one of the last remainng front row spots. Then waited till it was time then headed in for a 3 hr dive. Bowlofpetunias from OZ is here visiting, this being her second trip we did the east side. I think the east side was closed when she was here last. Tried to avoid most people but of course that is nearly impossible. Even had a diver get his flag tangled in mine and was completely clueless.. oh well.

So aside from it being busy with lots of divers on a holiday weekend....what critters did you see? :D

I'm still trying to get my head around Jenny braving a weekend:rofl3:
Here are some from last weekend's challenging conditions;
Any ID on this beauty would be appreciated. Great colors....

It is often strange to me to see different critters in ascendency from dive to dive, last month it was an octo everywhere you looked,
next week it was attack of the bristleworms with most everything flailing around with multiple bristleworms hanging off....
this time is was night of the crabs, box crabs, blue crabs, mud crabs, decorator crabs, even mystery crabs. Mostly feeding reasonably unfazed by my lights.
Guess the mass out flux of polluted lake water pre storm killed off a lot of things creating ideal crab conditions.....
