Another nocturnal star.
I have never (and technically still haven't) seen one before at the bridge.
Besides the bad ass black and white body check out the tiny anemones stuck to his legs for "flair"...
Awesome, one quick picture and he vanished :shocked2:

Leave you with a reaching Sea Hare, some great critters.

A brooding jawfish AND a striated hairy frogfish in one dive. I'm still waiting for the day I see either at the bridge.

We are pretty jaded.
I don't get really stoked till we find something "new".
Was told there was a area with 5 dwarf frog fish out getting a moon tan on the same dive.

One more cool nudie

Anybody diving tonight?

Went to the bridge this past weekend with a mission to find a hairy frogfish. Managed to find 2 (first ones I've seen at the bridge). Good critter dives with OK viz.

Trying a new way of linking photos so let me know if it doesn't display.

Also saw my first and second frilled seahorses (thanks for the ID Jenny).

Whats Up? Why is this thread all of a sudden so quiet?

I guess we're all busy dying out in the heat, or diving!

Tons of octo's on the west side, after losing count of how many we saw with as many as 5 in sight at once, a friend on the East side reported only seeing 1.... really highlights the many different "zones" of BHB!

As always every dive there seems like a once in a lifetime dive of a different sort. Today was thumbnail sized french angelfish that thought I was pretty good shelter. Made it hard to take a picture of it as it swam in loops around my arms and camera... and a lone squid (I've never only seen one!) who I am convinced was communicating with the "other" squid (his reflection in my port), and it was beautiful to watch him changing colors and patterns as we swam together for a bit.

Of course no dive would be complete without some photos ruined by 2 divers standing on the bottom by the channel marker. The sharptail eel they almost stepped on was right to hide from them!

Ok. finally getting around to posting pics from Saturday's dive. We saw all kinds of critters, some more interesting than others. One of my buddies did the ID'ing for the group.

Shoelacefish getting tied in knots.
