Some nice shots Kev, though us non marine biologists wouldn't mind some culling:D:D:D...
Really like the coronet fish face close up picture, the crab molt looks like a stone crab, we've seen some tiny (and massive) ones there.

And, as my mother is often wont to say, people in hell would like ice water. :D

Anybody got a name for this thing - besides yellow sea hare?

John Casey tells me this is a Geographic Sea Hare (Syphonota geographica). Thank you, John!

Oh, and did you notice the little, four inch, baby black grouper?? He was on the snorkel trail.

Yes, he was very cool but waiting on my ice water probably your two best shots even on Flicker would suffice.
Look forward to our next bridge dive now that temps have dropped, should be some new critters. Will scope "favorite" areas and report who's in residence.

Oh, OK. I'll try to get off my rear and post a few.

My "favorite" spot (which you turned me on to) has now gone back to having the same kind "shell covered" bottom, but also continues to be essentially barren of visible fauna. And, I scoured it *very* carefully on more than one dive. Most disappointing. :-(

When I Googled that sea hare species, Linda turned up right away as having been the first to have found it in the Atlantic (IIRC). I look forward to meeting her in person some day. I do *not*, however, aspire to snail expertise. Pretty and colorful as they may be, they're just small (or rare) for my old eyes to find.

Enjoyed the video. (I leave the critter interaction issues to others :D)

Here's a start. . .
