I took NAUI for my ow and the best advice I got was from this forum is; "Slow is fast". When performing the skills don't go fast, take your time with each skill. If you do this then you will often be done before the others who rushed through the skill and made mistakes.
Everything you are taught is for a reason so pay attention and ask questions. Have fun and dive safe!
