I'm a Fish!
Heard the terrible news today of Brett’s passing. Zero details out there right now, but he was an amazing cave explorer and an all around good guy. My thoughts go out to his family…he has left the world far too soon.

Awful

Pretty sad. 475’ deep in a cave :(

:(

Who knew west Texas had deep caves. RIP, Brett. I knew you when and you were always a gentleman and kind.

Dive legend Brett P. Hemphill has died today while exploring one of the deepest underwater cave systems at Phantom Springs, Texas.

RIP to a cave diving icon.😢
