I have been meaning to post up this picture of my bungie mount on my P2. I use a single piece of bungie with a cord lock. What is hard to see is that at the end of the cord lock is a keeper ring. To put the computer on I make the loops as big as they go, slide it over my wrist. To snug it down I place computer face on my chest, pull the bungie tight, grab the keeper ring in my teeth, slide the cord lock down.

Note: to make this system work the cord lock needs to be on the battery side of the computer with the knot on the opposite. Hope the photo is clear enough.

Looks good! I use a cord lock to tighten/loosen the bungee on my wrist slate, for different exposure suits. I like the ring to hold in your teeth.

Yeah having the keeper ring helps, one can also just tie a knot. Anything really to grab on to when pulling the cord lock.

Some of the "newer" cord locks have keeper on them so that one actually grabs the keeper ring/bungie instead. I.e. one attaches a short piece of flat material to the body of the cord lock through the slits and the computer so it can not go anywhere. Then one pulls the bungie. Most of my jackets have this setup for one handed usage.

That is a niffy idea. I am replacing all of my Zoop & compasses' factory mounts with bungee style mounts for my students and the Lock seems to be a nice idea for size adjustments. I will have to pick some up next month when I am back in the States.

It's bungee, why do you actively need cord locks to put it on??

I've done similar with all of my timers (thread bungee through the strap pins).

A very small bight at one side ('top' or outer arm) that the other ends go through. There is a (passive) cord lock on that end so it doesn't slide through. It doesn't need to be adjusted or moved, unless I'm going to/from my drysuit to warmer water, and once it's adjusted, it doesn't move again until my exposure protection changes....

I am thinking of trying the cord lock too. I am using mine on Zoops for my students. Their wrists are not all the same diameter. I could just try a know for adjustments but the cord lock would appear to work just as well too.
