What are the major/common repairs that need to be done on these lights?

Cable cuts, oring replacements, failed battery, toggle boot switch, broken latch... How is stuff like that handled with companies?

I've got well over 1,000 dives on my Salvo 18W. So far I've replaced the light cord twice (second time was two weeks ago when I was down there), and the switch once. Most of my "repairs" have had to do with the wires/connectors coming out of the battery and/or switch ... and those are easily handled at home with a soldering iron. Besides, the designs they're producing nowadays don't even have those wires.

The switch/cord replacement I just had done was a "while you wait" job ... and cost me $35.
