Checked this out on the way home tonight: Guido's is open and their new patio is beautiful.

Speaking of openings, Jeannie who was the original owner of Jeannie's Waffle House that has changed hands on at least two occasions has opened up shop in the Hotel Flamingo. Just lucky enough to be staying at the Flamingo. Great omellettes and of course waffles at a great price and cozy setting. Calle 6 N between the waterfront and 5th.

I'll be in Cozumel Saturday afternoon! This time I'm bringing a netbook and I should be able to stay connected. Scuba Club has a wireless hot spot.

Today was not a dive day for us (flying tomorrow) but the winds had died out, the water was calm and beautiful. It was warm and humid on land. We had a bit of morning shopping, then a final afternoon lazy day by the pool. I'm sitting on the balcony now, looking at the stars and the ocean ... doesn't get much better than this!!

I have emailed Blue Angel for the 18th and 19th. Such a hard decision - would have been easier if there were not so many good dive shops to choose from. Staying at El Cid La Ceiba Beach Hotel (got a good deal).

An understatement - it was snowing when we left Buffalo this am.
