Jan24-feb 2, First time in Coz we're going with a buddy with lot of dives in the reefs around the island. My wife is a bit of a newbie, shes a little worried about the deep and I am a little nervice about the drift dives but our buddy keeps telling us dont worry the dive op's are pros and really good with first timers. We're staying in a private residence and diving with Pelagic Ventures we are also doing a day trip to the Chichen itza ruins, if Im going to Mexico its a must for me.

Will be at Hotel Barracuda the 13th thru 31st. Will be diving with Dive Paradise.

On the newbie drift diving, we did our first 'real' dives after OW cert in Coz (actually we havent gone anywhere else just back to Coz again!) The only time I really had to deal with it was on the C-51. I was tuckered out getting to stern in the current. Gave the reg a good workout. :coolingoff: Rest of the dives, swam a little to stop and look, other than that Alison lined the dives up like a ride, jump in and go. Everytime I came up, there was Carlos with the boat. I worry about having to actually swim someplace else. Drift diving could make me lazy... :burnout:
