Banjercito, military bank ATM at Sedena and by the base on 65 has fee of about 18.5. CI Banco ATM, 65 or 30 that I know about, has fee of 17.something.
Banjercito doesn't have a big building, but it's a trustworthy bank.
Have used both for years without any hint of fraud.

I added a second checking to my credit union account. No checks just a debit card. No cash in the account until I'm ready to make a withdrawal at the ATM, then I transfer from the primary checking to the secondary with the phone app. Just enough for the withdrawal, then if the thieves get the number they hit an empty account that declines the transaction and I get an immediate text that a charge was declined. I can shut down the card immediately from the app.

Exactly, as I learned from others here on the Board, Charles Schwab checking with ATM card. 0 monthly fees, 0 balance requirements, they pick up all ATM charges (automatically, no dinking around with receipts and claims), 0 foreign transaction fees and an exchange rate consistently 0.15 Peso's below the full FOREX rates. It's a no brained and it is separate and not linked to my primary bank.
On Gary's recommendation, I opened this account with Schwab after my last trip to Coz. Just recently took my first international trip using it and I wish I'd have done it sooner. Great exchange rates and absolutely zero ATM fees, monthly fees, etc......It's too good to be true, but it actually is.
