YouTube is home to a new lobster mini season safety video with a list of co-sponsors longer than your arm! While we can all use the reminder, those of us dusting off their scuba equipment and boats after long hybernation periods should particularly take note. It is a shame that one of the most exciting nights of the year is also one of the most dangerous!

Dive safe and ENJOY!

It looks like I will be in town (Fort Lauderdale) on business the night Lobster Mini-Season kicks off. Do's and don'ts from experienced locals would be greatly appreciated as well as recommendations on who to go out with.

While I am an underwater photo/video nut and don't hunt, I love night diving and the energy/excitement of divers enjoying the first night of lobster season. I have gone many times in California and it has always been a blast! Is the mini season kickoff in South Florida a festive good time?
