Missing Diver Found Dead At Kapoho Bay - Honolulu News Story - KITV Honolulu
A tragic end to the search for a missing diver on the Big Island as rescuers recovered a body this morning.

The body of the 26-year-old diver was found 150 yards off shore Champagne Pond at Kapoho Bay on the Big Island's windward coast.

According to the Big Island fire department the diver was found in 10 feet of water near the site where they were last seen.

Family and friends of the diver helped to locate the body, which was turned over to police for investigation.

The identification of the diver has not been released by police.

Sounds plural to me.

From the press report, can't even tell if it was scuba or skin diving.

All the best, James

Considering the fact that the missing person call was at 5:13 AM, this is not your typical recreational diving fatality. :idk:
