Stupid expensive... the 12AH 2 packs are $600 right now as well.

I am impatiently waiting for a forthcoming 15Ah custom pack that will fit in a Travel and make it neutral and trim out.

If that works out (and I have seen a pic of a Travel floating in trim...), then I will buy one and probably never use my Tech tube or Dewalt 12 Ah batteries again...

Assuming its price is not based on its weight in gold, of course...

Lol, I have no plans in building packs for people.
On top of the custom batt it requires Removing the steel esc plate, potting and other various small changes.

I don't have the time or temperament to deal with sales/support anymore

What is the cost of building a custom battery vs retail? @Whitrzac looks good!

Well... his battery pack has 30 cells and, I think, is a 15 Ah pack. The cells in my Genesis are $5.50 each, in a quantity of 30. So, $165 for that pack, plus a Bluetooth BMS, the other miscellaneous bits, and, of course, you need the spot welder. I'd guess, if you already have the tools, that pack would be roughly $215-ish in materials.

I guess you'd need 40 cells for a 20Ah pack for a BlackTip Tech. So, $220 plus plus. Maybe $270-ish, all in?
