Which low end computer (up to $500) gives you average depth?

Suunto Vytec (lots available at <$500 on the secondary markets)

I also believe Claudette's Aeris Atmos Nitrox does provided Avg Depth.

Both are post-dive functions.

The Suunto Gekko shows the average depth.

My Aladdin Tec2G has average depth displayed during the dive, but I don't know if a new one falls within your price constraints.

Try the Suunto Mesquito which also can be used as a watch when not diving.

so far the only one listed that shows average depth during the dive is the tec2g but the new Uwatec BT does so as well and falls within your range.

Do you know if that new BT is available yet? I looked on Uwatec's site but it looks like they are still advertising the old one.

Suunto Gekko and Vyper do, from responses so far I'd hazard a guess any current Suunto does.
