Lake Murray (Marietta Landing)

Water temp dive 1: 48F@36ft
Water temp dive 2: 48F@32ft

Vis: 20ft+

Surface: ~70f and sunny

10,000 zebra mussels observed but otherwise very little
animal life. There were aquatic plants in very shallow
areas around 10 feet or less.

Offatt's Bayou, Galveston, TX - 2/23/2013

Diving with CHUM. Easy entry via giant stride off of the pier near the boat launch. Water temp was approx 60F. Viz was pretty bad and ranged from less than a foot to perhaps 3ft at the best. Cave line set around the site to guide divers from the pier to points of interest including a sunken boat, however difficult to see much given the conditions.

Lake Travis - Mansfield Dam (2 dives)
Max Depth - 40 ft
Vis - 15 ft
Water Temp - 58 deg. at depth.
The plane now sits at 13 ft. Followed both dives by a couple of friendly carp that kept nudging me.

I had really good vis at wreck alley yesterday. At least 25'. You could see all the way through the boat from one end to the other.

If the water level drops much more at Travis, visability will be limitless. We'll all put away the dive gear and break out our hiking boots.
