Diving Abu Dhabi

Hey all

My work brings me to Abu Dhabi fairly frequently & I normally have 48 hours off before having to fly out. I stay at the Fairmont hotel across the water from the grand mosque. I'm looking for any information on the possibility of any local dive operators & sites. I'll probably bring my own gear apart from tank weights & maybe wetsuit.

Any information would be greatly appreciated

Hi Rhys,

Unfortunately, I don't know much about diving in Abu Dhabi. But I do know that a lot of expats, living in Abu Dhabi, come to the East Coast to dive with us rather than diving over there. It's approx a 3-hour drive each way, but according to them, it is definitely worth it...... Just let me know if you'd like more info on the diving in this area - and sorry I can't help with info on Abu Dhabi

I been looking into diving in that area and all I can say from what I have found out so far is,you should just give Karin a call.They have a really nice run operation and the diving is very good and they will be my UAE connection.

For diving in and around Abu Dhabi, contacy Kathleen at Al Mahara dive centre Home

Numerous dive centres in Dubai (an hours drive from AD) Atlantis Dive Centre, Pavillion Dive Centre, Al Boom Diving

East coast certainly offers the better diving and is well worth the drive. Personal choice for me is Divers Down on that side
