I did Denpasar to Labuan Bajo and and back a couple of weeks ago and I didn't see anyone's carry on luggage get weighed by any airline while I was lined up to check in with Batik. Lion and Wings were right next to us.

Following up on this question, everyone’s advice was spot on. We pre-purchased additional weight allowance and no carry on bags were weighed for anyone in our group. Thanks again to everyone who replied here.
Aside from a schedule change that required an overnight layover in Makassar and one flight with less leg room, Lion Air did okay for us.
