I am doing some open ended travel right now and will be in Myanmar around mid-July and I had some questions related to diving.

From what I understand the monsoon season will be in full swing by that time off of the Bay of Bengal. Do the monsoons basically kill all visibility in the water or would there be a chance to still go diving? How big of a window with no rain would I need for visibility to improve - two days? (I have been quite lucky so far with weather)

Does the majority of diving done in Myanmar originate in Thailand? Are there any good dive shops in Myanmar? (I did see there was a dive shop in Myanmar that has dives off of Ngwe Saung Beach near Pathein)

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!
