Downloads. What other options do I have?

I typically take a laptop (with three hard drives, one for pics, one for video and one to backup the other two. Occasionally though I take a Vosonic (with a 500 gb drive) that has a pretty nice screen to show pics on.

Up to recently devices like the Vosonic seemed ideal - compact, viewing screen, AV out. I had a too-early model, the Delkin PicturePad, which was unreliable, and a FlashTrax that I never ended up using. Now laptops are almost that compact.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm thinking about it. The next trip probably isn't until October so I might wait a bit.
