Quick Speed Guide

3 Knots...Kick at moderate speed for one minute and get nowhere
4 Knots... Turn head sideways and have mask ripped from your head.
6 knots...Go to end of trailing line and hold on, Purge air from BC. You won't sink.
9 knots..Go to end of trailing line and point fins into current. You will begin to plane.
12 knots...You have just invented a new extreme sport

for the slightly-mathematically-inclined. Speed in MPH = speed in knots plus about 15%. (I think. I just got off of a flight.) Not exact, but close enough.
