I don't usually pick lionfish pictures for favorites, because they're done SO much -- but that chocolate brown guy posing with the soft curls in his fins, against the gold background, is a beautiful photograph.

Great shots as usual. I think I like the Lion fish shot best as it took me a couple of looks to see the Pipefish that was there as well!

I think they eat any critter they can swallow whole. I don't believe that would include the Robust Ghost Pipefish that is near it in that photo. Maybe the Lion was just sizing it up?

I have only seen it done that one time, I couldn't believe my eyes. There are approx. 100 men carrying that house.
