Ferry to Bahammas from Palm beach?

Looking for a long weekend trip to Freeport in July and I heard that there was a ferry that made the trip regularly and fairly cheap but I haven't been able to find any info. Is this true or is there another way to get there on the cheap in relative comfort(not swimming )

I think you may the ferry you are looking for is out of Fort Lauderdale. Google for Discovery Cruiselines (or even Bahamas Ferry).

Good luck. I hear that you want to get on the Ferry early and get a spot staked out.
