As long as you keep water out of the tanks you shouldn't have any internal rusting problems. I have 4 sets of PST 104's and the only time I have had rust issues was flash rust post- hydro- which is easily remedied with a little tumbling.

A yoke adapter for a 200 bar DIN valve. This allows a yoke first stage to be connected to the valve. There is no such beast for a 300 bar DIN valve.

Not entirely true, we stock DIN300 to yoke adaptors: from 330bar DIN reg to 200 bar yoke valve, but also the other way around. Both made by Scubatec from Italy.
Can't say I am happy with them, but we sell them.

I have a set of HP80s and they work great. I am 6'2" and no head plants so far.

So Andy, when are you picking up that Halcyon wing? Huh, buddy?

hehehe...i got a nice discount on a Halcyon Explorer (55lbs), so i went and got it

it was a factory second, turned down for cosmetic reasons, with full Halcyon
warranty

H2Andy:
they come with a vis already.

say, now that you mention it... how is the fact that the tanks have been
hydroed indicated? would i need to hydro new tanks?
All tanks are hydro'd by the manufacturer before they sell them. The hydro stamp looks just like any hydro stamp: month/ID/year, except for the fact that it will have the manufacturers boss between the month and year, instead of the test facility RIN.

You have any problems with the 11" band spacing on the short e7-80s?

I like big bands, I cannot lie....

The top band is almost to the edge of the neck, and the bottom band is only an inch or so from the base of the tank.

In all honesty, these tanks are so small and light that big bands are not needed and I think that the thinner bands would be a better fit anyway. Live and learn.

Oh, I was in Devils with them yesterday and I am a little head heavy, but I can easily compensate for it. I can get back to the white room with them, barely. They keep me out of trouble :)

alright... had my first dives with the new Worthington LP 85's

moving them about is a killer on my back, so bought a dolly at Home Depot.
that helped a lot.

once they are on my back, they are a lot easier to handle. every step, though,
is a bit of an effort on my back, especially on the lower back muscles.

in the water, very sweet. the trim was perfect; didn't have to mess with the
bands at all between dives.

today, my back hurts some, but not very bad.
