ok, found the fish: Acanthopagrus bifasciatus (Twobar seabream)..

The fish is an Acanthopagrus Bifasciatus or Twobar Seabream


Not sure about the starfish

The "starfish" appears to be a species of brittlestar that I'm not familiar with. The two are related but in different classes within the Echinoderms. Giving location information would help.
 
yeah I know it is a brittle star (not the banded brittle star though, however very close) location is Qatar on the Persian gulf; closely related to Indian Ocean
 
Good work on Acanthopagrus bifasciatus! I also went with a young Anisotremus virginicus (Porkfish) which often look different from the parents, but the sea bream is a spot on match.
