General Manager and Guest Relations Manager required for boutique diving resort in the Muck Diving Capital of the World - Lembeh Strait, Indonesia. Enthusiastic, experienced and 'hands-on' diving couple to take over the management of one of the most successful resorts in the area.Responsibilities would include: General Manager: · Ensure the financial success of the resort· Ensure the smooth operation of all functions within the resort · Ensure the safety, comfort and satisfaction of all resort customers· Oversee the management of all resort departments· Work towards increased occupancy of the resort through sales & marketing iniatives· Work towards increased revenue and profit from key in-house profit centres - Bar, Spa, Tours, Gift Shop· Assist in dealing with guest issues related to the resort when necessary· Act as liaison between dive center and resort· Assist with Social Marketing through Facebook, Twitter, Diver Forums and other means· Actively market resort's services to guests whenever possible· Work on developing marketing campaignsGuest Relations Manager: · Maintain the highest level of satisfaction of in-house guests & deal with all guest issues related to the resort· Social Marketing through Facebook, Twitter, Diver Forums and other means· Answer guest inquires both in-house & via email· Upsell and market resort services· Answer reservation inquires· Assist General Manager in the smooth operation and running of the resort· Assist General Manager in collection of necessary data· Develop, Maintain and ‘Exploit’ Customer Database· Work on developing marketing campaignsWould be looking to start early February 2013.
